Novara di Sicilia, when cheese becomes a village game
The Maiorchino tournament connects skill and local tradition.
Novara di Sicilia is associated with the Maiorchino tournament, a game of skill described by the regional portal as a living tradition. A food product also becomes an occasion to gather.
The practice connects food knowledge with public space. This is a feature about the tradition, not an announcement of a new edition; dates and programmes require organisers’ current notices.
