Salinas Museum brings its upper-floor collections back
Free admission is announced for 6 November, with booking required.
The Salinas Museum has completed redisplay work on its first and second floors. The Region announced a presentation for press and authorities on 5 November and free public admission on 6 November.
Historic collections, jewellery and coins occupy the first floor; mosaics and finds from twentieth-century excavations in western Sicily appear on the second. Visits require booking through the operator, including on the free day. Check before travelling to piazza Olivella: free admission does not mean entry without a reservation.
