Schifani calls for action on Sicily’s healthcare deficit

The Italpress report carried by Quotidiano di Gela cites a projected 2026 deficit of about €650 million, based on figures at 30 June.
Cost-containment measures could reduce the gap to roughly €400 million. That is a projected outcome to achieve, rather than savings already certified.
